YOUR FIRST VISIT

Here's exactly what to expect

Here's exactly what to expect

Every step is designed to make you feel comfortable, informed, and excited about your hair.

The Consultation

01

Understand the Vision

Before anything touches your hair, Candace sits with you to understand your hair history, lifestyle, and what you're after.

Assess your hair honestly

We take a close look at your hair’s condition, texture, density, and any breakage so we know what your hair can handle and what will look best long term.

Talk through real-life maintenance

We go over how you style your hair day to day and how much upkeep you actually want, so your look fits your life not the other way around.

We design your style

02

Create a plan that fits you

Candace walks you through what’s possible, what’s realistic, and what she recommends based on your hair and your goals.

Protect the integrity of your hair

Every color service is approached conservatively to keep your hair healthy, even if that means reaching your end goal over a few appointments.

Set expectations clearly

You’ll leave this step knowing what we’re doing today and what it may take moving forward if you're working toward a bigger change.

The service begins

03

Intentional from start to finish

Once you're aligned on the plan, the service begins with thoughtful placement and technique tailored just for you.

No rushing the process

Your hair’s health comes first. We do not push it past its limits trying to achieve everything in one visit.

Stay informed along the way

If you’re curious, Candace will walk you through what she’s doing so you always feel comfortable and in the loop.

Craft a Regimen

Before you go, you’ll have a clear maintenance plan to keep your hair looking fresh until your next appointment.

Only what you actually need

Product recommendations are based on your hair and lifestyle. Nothing is pushed, only what will truly help you maintain your results at home.

Protect your investment

If you’ve had a color or smoothing treatment, you’ll get simple guidance on how to make it last as long as possible.

Questions we hear all the time

Do you do consultations before booking?+
Every first appointment starts with a consultation. It's built into your service time, so there's no separate booking needed.
What should I bring to my first appointment?+
Inspiration photos help a lot. Clean dry hair, your hair history if you have it, and an open mind. That's really it.
How early should I arrive?+
5–10 minutes early is plenty. If you're running late, just text. Candace will work with you.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?+
Please give at least 48 hours notice. You can cancel or reschedule directly through your booking confirmation or by texting Candace.
I don't know what service to book...help?+
Book a consultation. Seriously. Candace will look at your hair and tell you exactly what makes sense. No guessing required.
How long will my appointment take?+
Cut services are typically 1–1.5 hours. Color services run 2.5–5 hours depending on the service. Your booking confirmation will show an estimated time.
